Cantu Shea Butter Leave-In

So recently I have been on the hunt for products that I can use as a back-up, in case I am unable to get an item that I usually use. Most of the time I use Herbal Essence Long Term Relationship Leave-in after I am finished with cowashing, or washing my hair. I've seen this item mentioned a few times on different hair boards and decided to give it a try.

This items info:

Cantu Shea Butter
Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream
Cantu shea butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream is made with real shea butter and essential oils to replace vital oil in your hair leaving it stronger and healthier with a natural shine.

Cantu shea butter leave in conditioning repair cream can be used on wet hair as an intensive moisturizing treatment or to tame frizz and fly-aways.

Cantu Shea Butter Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream helps…

•moisturize dry brittle hair with deep penetrating oil and emollients
•soften, detangle and add shine to hair
•protect hair against heat and sun styling damage
•provide extra protection from split ends and breakage

I absolutely fell in love with this item. It has a wonderful scent , and didn't feel heavy on my hair . It kept my hair moisturized and help tame down my new growth. Its inexpensive and can be purchased at Walmart, CVS, and some local beauty supply stores.

Wave Nouveau Moisturizing Finishing Lotion

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah...I know I'm late with trying this product. But THANK GOD I DID!!! I love this finishing lotion.

This product states that :

The unique formula provides body and shine as it revitalizes hair to look its best. This light lotion penetrates easily and enhances hair so that maximum styling options can be explored.

I've been trying to find a staple product to use to moisturize my hair. I usually have been using the S-Curl NO DRIP, but I ran out. So I purchased this just to try it and instantly fell in love with it. I moisturized my hair in sections with it and sealed with a little olive oil. It didn't weigh my hair down, or make it feel greasy. It wasn't too watery either.

This is definitely going to be a main staple for now on.

Aphogee 2 min Reconstructor

One of my fave items that has never let me down is the Aphogee 2min Reconstructor.

The product description states:

To treat brittle hair with cuticle damage and moderate breakage. ApHogee Keratin 2 Minute
Reconstructor is a powerful, one step treatment that should be used for home use, between
salon visits. This concentrated blend of keratin amino acids, botanical oils, and vitamins does wonders to restore strength and softness to hair that requires a deep, penetrating treatment. It is recommended on tinted, bleached or relaxed hair. ApHogee Keratin 2 Minute Reconstructor helps repair damage caused by chlorine and hard water. It soothes irritated scalp and may be applied following each shampooing until the healthy condition of the hair is restored. .7 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz.

When ever I feel that my hair is getting over -moisturized (yes your hair can get too much moisture), I simply use the 2 min reconstructor for about 5 mins with a shower cap ,no heat.

I have also used this product with one egg, beaten . I mixed the egg and the reconstructor together, placed on hair for 15 mins no heat ( never use heat when using a egg treatment) and washed out. My hair always come out very strong and but not hard like other protein treatments.
Always follow up your protein treatments with a moisturizer. I like to use the Herbal Essence Long Term Relationship Leave -In and then Coconut Oil to seal.

This is one item that always has a place in my regimen !!!!
